Data sheet AA2011
General properties
Aluminium-copper alloy, general purpose, whose main properties are high strength and very good machinability (free-cutting-alloy).
In general is used in form of rods and bars.
Ex stock the following tempers are available:
- T3 (drawn bars)
- T6 (extruded bars).
Other tempers are delivered upon request.
Typical applications
Machined parts (very high cutting speed), bolts, turned parts.
Minimum mechanical properties at room temperature
